I am sooooooo excited to announce my very, very good friend and crit partner’s sale. No one deserves this more and I am so happy and proud!!!
In fact words can’t express what I feel…… not a good look for a writer
I will just add, that Christina’s writing is extraordinary and I predict HUGE things for her future….. so remember you heard it here first!!!!
Anyway, here it is, the announcement on Publishers Marketplace.
Christina Phillips’s HIS FORBIDDEN PRINCESS, in which a Roman centurion leads an invasion into Cambria, and the druid princess who both defies and enthralls him, to Kate Seaver at Berkley Heat, in a two-book deal, by Emmanuelle Alspaugh at Judith Ehrlich Literary Management.

Okay, so I’m not one for deep and meaningful thought especially at this time of night when I got up at 5am…. however it struck me today that no matter how many times I threaten to give up writing and take up painting (highly amusing if you could see how awful my drawing is) that no matter what I’ll carry on. And days like these, when good things happen to one of my very best writing friends makes it all worth while.
PS I did buy a painting set a few months ago but haven’t opened it yet.

It seems like ages since I’ve blogged….. that’s because it is ages since I’ve blogged!!!!
No excuses, I’ve just been busy being busy… in other words I’ve been doing a lot of writing, reading and watching the TV.
Life’s good. Weather here in NZ is definitely picking up (spring is here), TV viewing is fab, especially as we now have a daily helping of Australian Masterchef and a two hour Australian Idol twice a week… not to mention all my other favs. I’m watching the last season ever of ER, talk about tear jerkers… every week I’m reaching for the tissues.
Hope you all have a fab weekend, doing whatever you’re doing!
